He campaigned upon the crime level and being accountable to the taxpayers on how their tax dollars are being managed and spent by city council....to date over one year since he was elected there has been no noticeable change in our crime rate....nor has he personally shown fiscal responsibility in what he has voted on as far as tax dollars are being spent on....just this week he made the comment "It's only 8 million dollars, lets get on with it" which was in reference to the additional monies which were added late to the Fire Department budget for new staff, new fire halls and renovations to many of our existing fire stations in Thunder Bay. Now that is not a great attitude as per his statement is it.???
Many In Thunder Bay have seen that HOBBS was or is full of hot air most days and as far from him making any significant change here in our city, well the truth of the matter is he has not and many who I speak with who voted for him now deeply regret that they did, so welcome to the next three years with Hobbs at the helm of what many see as a ship already taking on water and who's future looks like we are in sink mode.
