Can I have your attention....this is yet another TRUE PERSONAL STORY
about the state of affordable rental apartments and what I will refer to
as slum-lords here in Thunder Bay.....this building in question FYI is
on Simpson Street.....and I was in it only to find a plastic pail right
in the middle of the hallway....catching dripping water from an area
right adjacent to an electrical octagon box....in conjunction with the
hallway light fixture....YES YOU DID READ THAT CORRECTLY....this
is a fire waiting to happen....plus this very same roof leak is also
dripping water into one of the residents apartments as well....people
have complained and the owner and their management and maintenance
people do not address the situation at all....
UNREAL I Say...!!!
So there you go THUNDER BAY friends....I'm just attempting to keep you all informed as to how BAD it is out there for some people in this city....contrary to the opinion of a few on our city council that all is fine and dandy....!!!
