Good morning friends..I'm over visiting my friend Barrie La Rose who's turning 78 years young on July 21st, 2013..here is a picture of him from this morning...here's a true story about him...he enlisted in the Canadian Navy when he was 17 years old...and believe it or not he saw the original beatles before the Ringo Starr days...both in HAMBURG, GERMANY while he was stationed there as well he saw and met them in person in the CAVERN CLUB in England...and parties with them as well..he told me they were great guys...well after a night of partying together Barrie had to get back to his ship...so what did he do to get back there on time...he stole a motorcycle and rode it to the dock..parked it and boarded his ship...well someone else later stole it again...LMAO...oh and bye the way he also was in Germany at the very same time that ELVIS PRESLEY was...and he met him too...he told me the other guys really did not like ELVIS all that very much...because of all the special privileges he received while over there...so now I have 2 connections with the KING of ROCK and ROLL...Bobby Curtola and my friend Barrie La Rose...small world is it not...and one to the BEATLES...how very cool is that I ask you all....here are some photos and one is Elvis Presley's ring on my finger...the one that Vernon Presley gave to Bobby Curtola...????
