Good day to you all...well I have finally received official confirmation that a really great guy by the name of Darrell Matson who officially retired a short time ago is now back working on a CONTRACT BASIS with/for the City of Thunder Bay and it is his MISSION to deal with five (5) lawsuits in which the city is being sued for a myriad of reasons. Darrell was the General Manager of Infrastructure and Operations for the City of Thunder Bay.
I have had a great number of dealings with him in the past and he is number 1 in my opinion...it was a real pleasure having had the many opportunities to interact with Darrell over the years...he was a man who got things done.!
He would have made an EXCELLENT CITY MANAGER when Tim Commisso decided to retire...unfortunately Darrell was coming due to be able to retire and he choose to...which I say go for it and enjoy it.!
Now the burning question is...when I ask of the mayor and city council and the acting city manager to elaborate on this SPECIAL PROJECT lacking a better heading that Darrell has been brought back into play some role in their resolution...I will simply ask if they can or will at least advise me as to who is suing and on what grounds are these lawsuits based upon.
So for now that's all I have...have a great day and even though it's sunny out there today...bundle yourselves up and stay warm.!
